Your ScotiaMcLeod Statement

Reporting on your investments is very important to us. ScotiaMcLeod offers all our clients monthly account statements, whenever there are account transactions during the month, or at a minimum there are quarterly statements if there is no monthly activity. We are very proud to be the only full service brokerage firm offering an RRSP statement which shows the total value of contributions to the plan, and the plan's growth since it was opened (or 1991, whichever is later).

Please note, the plan growth is figure is not time or asset weighted.  For an account where not all the money was invested at inception, plan growth will understate the return to you, since not all the money invested in the account has been working for you since day one.  This is especially true for PAC plan members, where possibly only $150 was in the account since inception, and the last $150 was only in the account for a few weeks.

CAUTION! Please note that average cost does not reflect the original purchase price of a security where dividends have been re-invested. See why in our Dividend / Distribution Example.

We would be pleased to provide you with additional information to help asses your account performance.  Please contact us for more information.
